VOLUNTEER POSITION - ECOLOGY & CONSERVATION

Research Interests:

• Invasion of San Francisco Bay by Alien Cordgrass; Soil Ecology of the North Coast

Current Projects:

We are currently studying the molecular biology of cordgrass hybridization in one lab (mainly lab work) and soil ecology in another (this includes lab and field work).

Volunteer(s) are needed to do the following:

• soil biology lab work
• field work (counting, recording data, set-up of experiments)
• collecting insects (sometimes at night)

Volunteers are needed on a continuing basis.
