Anadromous Fish Facilities – Our facility is approved by USFWS, NOAA Fisheries, and CDFG for work with endangered species and includes state-of-the-art computer-monitored salt and fresh water flow-through systems.
Broodstock for Research – Captive Coho salmon are reared on-site for research projects and environmental studies.
Expertise – Staff Fisheries Biologists have years of experience conducting research on endangered salmon and provide information and evaluations for on-going regional projects.
Pathogen Laboratory – The pathogen facility, which safely treats seawater effluent before discharge, is the only laboratory in California that allows work with new and emerging marine diseases.
