Sea Surface Currents and Waves

Bodega Marine Laboratory operates three standard range (~ 60 km) and two long-range (~200 km) high frequency (HF) radar stations. These instruments provide hourly vector maps of surface currents for the northern California coast between Point Arena and Point Reyes.
