Long term average air and seawater temperatures recorded from NOAA buoy 46013 over the period 1982-2007 are plotted for each day of the year and compared with current conditions.
Marine Atmospheric Boundary Layer (MABL)
The atmospheric boundary layer is monitored by a NOAA radio acoustic sounding system. Measurement data are used to estimate the height of the boundary layer and to plot the air temperature up to 1.6 km above ground.
These plots are derived from high frequency radar observations and show direction and velocity of the ocean surface current. Plots show hourly and daily averaged sea surface currents, 3 day averaged currents plotted with sea surface temperature (SST) and chlorophyll (CHL).
